About us
Economics and Finance Society BEA HKU (EFS) is one of the largest non-profit-making student-run organizations at The University of Hong Kong since its establishment in 1940.
With 85 years of history, more than 2000 students enrolled as Members of our Society which covers more than one-sixth of the students at The University of Hong Kong. We steadfastly hold the belief of “Commitment to Excellence” dedicating ourselves to attain great achievements.
The 85th Inauguration Ceremony
The 85th Inauguration Ceremony is the first Project of Economics and Finance Society BEA HKU (EFS) Session 2024-2025. The aims of the Project are to mark the commencement of the new Cabinet and to officially introduce the new Cabinet to External Entities. This also marks the continuity of the Society, stepping into the 85th year.
Theme
"In unity we strive, together we thrive" encapsulates the essence of collaboration and communal strength. It highlights that individual efforts, when combined with those of others, can lead to greater achievements and shared success. This concept underscores the importance of fostering relationships and teamwork, illustrating that challenges can be more effectively addressed when approached collectively.
